I had a great time at this year's Beautylish Beauty Social Event. I got the pleasure of meeting a number of beauty bloggers, company founders and YouTube vloggers. I'm glad I decided to purchase the ticket to the event. It was quite the experience to be able to talk to all these people that I've been following for quite some time. All the girls I met were complete sweethearts and just seemed so down to earth. They're also even prettier in person.
The event was over in Santa Monica, Ca. The event's hotel was right next to the beach. As soon as I parked my car, I got out and saw that Rae from RaeView on YouTube parked next to me. She was with her bf so I must admit I was shy and feeling a bit intimidated to say hi to her. Later on in the day I worked up the courage to approach and meet her, which turned out to be a lovely experience as she was very polite and pleasant to meet.
I also got to meet the friendliest person ever! Since I went to the event by myself I was definitely feeling timid coming into there. Going up to the event I met this lovely woman, Westi, who was a makeup artist. She was by herself... I was by myself...so we became friends instantly and accompanied each other throughout the day, which turned out to be great because she was kind enough to take some pictures for me.
Upon arrival at the event, we were first introduced by a red carpet photo op. The lady at front were handing out some of these new hair elastics that are supposed be more fashionable on the wrist or hair. Then, walking into the event, a room set with large white couches, set with pink pillows and walls greet us. They had different booths throughout the room, which included Urban Decay, CND nails (a manicure station), Fresh, Cover FX, Benefit, Wella (hair braiding station), MM (eyelash station), Temptu (airbrush makeup), and Sugarpill.
Warning: I'm aware I look like crap in ALL these pictures :/ I know I'm not photogenic in the least bit. Especially how I'm next to all these pretty girls..I feel nothing short than a slug next to them.

| Jackie/ JaaackJack |
Jackie was the first vlogger/blogger I had the honor of meeting that morning. She was so lovely and exciting to meet. Isn't she super gorgeous as well? If you haven't seen her, definitely check her out on YouTube. She's always so energetic and sweet in all her videos.

| Christine from Temptalia |
It's mandatory to tell Christine how awesome her makeup blog is because this girl puts in so much work and effort into every aspect of temptalia.com. Her dupe list and swatches of products are very high quality, so I told her I truly appreciate all of it. Needless to say I was so excited to meet her!

| Leesha from XSparkage |
Leesha seriously rocks her new pixie hair cut. Plus, her makeup that day was amazing. Purples/turquoise/blues/fabulous, etc.
 |
| Kandee Johnson |
She's just as animated in real life. She always looks so rocker-chic.
 |
| Here with Heart/ThatsHeart |
She's just as cool in person as she is in her videos. Her personality was so bubbly she was fun to be around. I also got to meet her sweet bf, Arnold. I forgot to tell him how funny his YT videos are, darn.

| Julie G! |
Julie G is one cool chick. She complimented me on my braid even though her hair is way more fabulous than mine, obviously. I was really surprised to see that she genuniely wants to meet and talk to her subscribers/fans. Maybe too much...seeing that one girl so rudely interrupted me talking to Julie and I was just there waiting for those two to finish. It was awkward but talking to Julie was a really fun experience. She even remembered me when I left the event. I'll have to check out her new nail polish line, which I heard had really good reviews.

| Wendy Nguyen from Wendy's Lookbook |
I have to say that meeting Wendy was super heart warming. I love her fashion blog because all of her outfits are utterly beautiful and very well-put together. Plus, she wore her famous YSL heels that are to die for. I also told her that those heels and her purple Balenciaga purse are my favorite accessories of her wardrobe. What's cool about her is that she used to work in the finance industry for about 5 years, but then discovered her true passion was with fashion blogging. From there she told me she continued working on her blog and that's how she got to where she is now. I can't tell you enough how sweet she was to me.

| Ingrid/missglamourazzi |
Ingrid is so sweet and pretty! I got to talk to her about the Clarisonic which I recently bought so she shared with me her experience and tips with it.
 |
| Rae from Raeview |
I finally worked up the courage to say hi to her before she left. She said she was sorry for seeming to be unapproachable but it was actually just me being way too shy to say hello. Her videos and blog are all well informed on the products she reviews. Rae is a very well-spoken and lovely gal :)

| Alexa Losey/smokeypinkleopard |
Alexa's makeup/clothes hauls on YouTube are always fun to watch. Also, her makeup/beauty stash is to die for. Her room tour video made my mouth drop in awe. What's funny about this picture is that she said she hated how she looked in it so we took another picture. Turns out, I hated how I look in the other picture so even though she looked better in the other one, I posted this one lol ^.^

| Singer Sabi |
I only know Sabi from that Cobra Starship song...is that bad? As you can tell she looks gorgeous in person.
 |
| Here with Jasmine J or Jazziebabycakes |
I'm so happy I got to talk to Jasmine on my way out! She worked at the event so Westi, her, and I all got to basically fangirl at how fabulous the gift bags were. Also, she has awesome makeup tutorials online. She's so pretty =]

| The beauty social gift bag I received at the end of the day. It's safe to say all of this is worth more than the entry ticket. |
Sorry if you can't see all the products. I'll have to perhaps make a separate post of all the goodies in the gift bag. Some of my favorite items would have to be the Goody Spin Pins, which I might add work amazing, false lashes, and an Urban Decay eye brush! I also have to add that I got to meet and see some other people in the beauty community, like Karen from makeupandbeautyblog, she seemed really busy so I never got the chance to talk to her. I also got to see Too Faced's founder, Jerrod Blandino, which I thought was really cool to see in person because Too Faced products are awesome and of course the other brand creators that spoke there as well. But all in all, the event was really relaxing and quaint so it was great to mingle with other people.
